Ryanair Moves Quickly Into Budapest
Just days after Malév Hungarian Airlines ceased operations Ryanair announced 31 new routes from Budapest. Today's Featured Map overlays Malév's route map (red) with the new Ryanair routes (yellow). 17 routes will be added this month with three more (Birmingham, Bologna, and Bristol) to follow in March. Thinner lines indicate ten additional routes to be added in April and one final addition in July of service to Warsaw via Warsaw-Modlin Airport, a general aviation (GA) airport which is due to open for commercial service in June.
