Boeing 787 Paints A Self-Portrait

Yesterday morning, the fourth Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner landed back at Boeing Field after an 18-hour endurance test flight (operating as Boeing 004) which spent the night "drawing" the outline of a 787-8. The aerial art was a fun byproduct of the test flight, which covered 22 states (18 under the artwork) over the course of approximately 8,588 nautical miles.

Today's Featured Map shows the path of this flight in Boeing blue, switching to Boeing red at the most southern point of the path.
