Earlier today the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) proposed the selection of eight U.S. airlines to operate the 20 daily flights to Havana made available to U.S. carriers by last year's agreement between the United States and Cuba. The proposal includes service from ten U.S. airports and a final decision is expected later this summer.
