Tenth Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks
Today marks the tenth anniverary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, plus the crash of a fourth flight near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, when the hijackers realized that the passengers were about to thwart an attack on another Washington location.
Nearly 3,000 victims died in the attack, with many more victims in the aftermath. Please pause for a moment of silence in their memory.
