Featured Map: Operational Changes to Tokyo Flights (21 March 2011)

The magnitude 9.0 earthquake east of Sendai, Japan, disrupted group transportation in Tokyo and caused other problems which led to a variety of reactions by airlines. Some continued services normally, a few suspended flights to Tokyo, and others added stops so crews could avoid Tokyo layovers and a risk of not being able to get from the crew hotel back to Narita to work the return flight. Today's Featured Map illustrates a few of these changes:
