Last Thursday, United Continental Holdings announced the first new routes after the merger, including additions from all three mainland hubs of Continental and from all domestic hubs of United except Chicago O'Hare.
One notable addition is United's first service to Dallas Love Field since the opening of DFW. Twice-daily service to Love Field from Denver will be flown by ExpressJet Airlines, operating as United Express, using Embraer 145 aircraft with 50 seats, avoiding the Wright Amendment limits which were the subject of the Featured Map on 13 October 2010. Continental already serves Love Field with flights from Houston.
