Featured Maps: The First 24 Hours (14 January 2010)
The new Great Circle Mapper debuted at 1400Z (6:00am PST) on 12 January 2010. It took just 79 seconds for the first map to be requested by a user. The map was the example from the Quick Usage Guide:

During the first 30 minutes, users from 12 countries generated maps on the new site:
Within 24 hours, users from 44 countries had given it a try:
